Unwell Assessments for Pets
at Walk In Clinic for Animals
During an unwell assessment, our veterinarians will conduct a thorough physical examination, paying close attention to your pet’s vital signs, overall demeanour, and any specific symptoms you may have noticed. We will ask detailed questions about your pet’s recent behaviour, appetite, and bowel movements to gain a comprehensive understanding of their health history.
In some cases, additional diagnostic tests may be necessary to accurately diagnose your pet’s condition. These tests may include blood tests, urine analysis, faecal exams, radiographs (X-rays), or ultrasound examinations. By utilizing advanced diagnostic tools, we can identify underlying conditions and develop a tailored treatment plan. As pets can’t tell us what’s wrong, we need to rule in or rule out certain conditions to determine the best course of treatment.
Once we have a clear diagnosis, we will discuss the treatment options available, including medications, dietary modifications, or surgical interventions. We will carefully explain the risks and benefits of each option and work with you to make informed decisions about your pet’s care.
Our goal is to provide compassionate and effective care for your pet. We understand the emotional impact of a sick pet, and we will work closely with you to ensure their comfort and recovery. If you have any concerns about your pet’s health, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
